These crystals are mined in small quantities, using only a few hand tools, from secret locations in the hills of west Wales. A place rich in legend, folk lore and archeology of ancient celts and druids, who used to inhabit these lands. These areas where infact considered to be the spiritual centres of the druid and celtic world. Standing stones, stone circles and dolmens, dated at around 5000 years old are doted all over these hills.

West Wales is also the home of the Preseli Hills, the source of the blue stones used to construst Stonehenge, and Caerfyrddin or Carmarthen, the ancient birthplace of Merlin the advisor of King Arthur.

Wales itself is reputed to be the Land of Dragons - dragons are said to have once lived in these hills which are still thick with the scent of magical beings, druid stuctures and ancient civilizations.
